In Swing, data from various sources, (regional) levels (such as neighborhoods, municipalities, or organizations), and time series are collected and made accessible. Users can combine and present this data in different formats or choose from predefined presentations.

Processing of Personal Data

For the use of the management environment Swing Studio, the following personal data is processed by default:

  • Username
  • Name
  • Email address (in principle linked to the user’s organization)

Swing does not process any personal data that qualifies as special or sensitive data under the GDPR.

Purposes and Legal Basis

The processing of personal data is necessary for:

  • Contact with users.
  • Registration or password management.
  • Identification of the target group.
  • Sending information.

Retention Period and Data Sharing

Personal data will not be kept longer than necessary and will never be shared with third parties without explicit consent. With organizations that process personal data on behalf of ABF Research, ABF Research enters into a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality.

User Rights

Users have the right to:

  • Access, correction, and deletion of their data.
  • Data portability and objection to processing.

Requests regarding the above rights can be submitted via the project leader at ABF Research, with identification as a requirement.

Cookies

Swing Viewer uses functional and analytical cookies to ensure the website functions properly and to improve user experience. Visitor statistics are stored anonymously.

For questions or complaints, please contact ABF Research or the Swing Helpdesk. Additional information on how ABF Research handles your personal data can be found in the (general) privacy statement on our website. Of course, we are happy to assist you if you have complaints about the processing of your personal data. If we are unable to resolve the issue together, you have the right under privacy legislation to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
